iACT – iACT envisions a respectful, caring and inclusive community where people of diverse cultures and religions are actively involved in enhancing the quality of life in the Austin area. AAIM unites faith and cultural communities to foster respect, partnership and transformation in service of the common good.

Andrew Shapter – This rising documentarian generously paused his busy schedule to film a mini-documentary called “Happiness Is” about the Community First! program.  His film debuted at the Austin Symposium for the Homeless at St Edwards University.

Austin Bridge Builders Alliance – Connecting the greater Austin Church community, and its resources, to the needs of the city and region.

Austin Clubhouse – Austin Clubhouse provides an accepting place to spend the day, valuable work to perform within the organization, opportunities to develop meaningful relationships, and access to employment and other resources in the Austin area.

Austin Travis County ATCIC – Austin Travis County Integral Care (ATCIC), formerly known as the Austin Travis County Mental Health Mental Retardation Center, serves as the Local Authority for Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Travis County, administering an annual budget of $45 million of local, state and federal funding to over 80 distinct funding sources at 44 physical facilities.

Break It Down Austin – Jeff and Melanie are our go-to composting experts.  They offered their informational services at our 2nd Backyard Garden dig at the Hardin household.  Thanks and many blessings to you!

Capital Area Food Bank – The Capital Area Food Bank nourishes hungry Central Texans by providing food and grocery products to more than 350 Partner Agencies in 21 Central Texas counties. In addition, CAFB provides programs for Partners and those in need free of charge.

Catholic Charities – Catholic Charities of Central Texas works to strengthen individuals, families and communities through direct services, community collaboration and social justice advocacy.

Citizen Gardener – Next to Batman and Robin, the duo of Pierce and Clark (the founding pair of this veritable institution) is the most famous combo in Austin.  Formidable as they may be, they have placed KP on the radar of their well trained Citizen Gardener alumni volunteer list.  Thank you CG for sharing your experience and work ethic!

CMPBS – The Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems, established in 1975, is a non-profit education, research, and demonstration organization specializing in life cycle planning and design. We undertake projects based on their potential contribution to site, regional and global sustainability and human health, and actively pursue collaborations with associate organizations, businesses and professional firms.

Dominican Joe – This famous Austin coffee beacon gave us a discount on our Do-Jo-To Go order which proved invaluable for our first ever info session.  (There is speculation that KP would not have received the number of Backyard Garden orders that were placed that day were it not for this invaluable product placement!)

ECHO – Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO) is dedicated to planning, prioritizing, and developing strategies to end homelessness in Austin, TX. The overall role of the ECHO is to identify specific strategies and to oversee ongoing planning efforts and implementation of the plan to end chronic homelessness.

Holy Cacao- Welcome to Holy Cacao, a sweet little dessert trailer in the heart of Austin, Texas. Here at Holy Cacao we believe dessert should be fun. There may be nothing serious about our attitude, but we are serious about taste.

Food Heads – Chip and the gang at Foodheads  have been host to several KP staff gatherings and generously offered KP it’s first vehicle donation and a host of kitchen appliances.

Foundation Communities – Foundation Communities is a?nonprofit organization providing service-enriched, high-quality affordable housing that enables families and individuals with low incomes to permanently improve their educational and economic standing.

Foundation for the Homeless – For more than 20 years, Foundation for the Homeless has assisted Austin individuals and families in their work toward a self-sufficient lifestyle.

Front Steps- Based on the belief that all people deserve the dignity of a safe place to call home, Front Steps mission is to provide a pathway home through shelter, affordable housing, and community education.

Hat Creek Burger Co. – Hat Creek in Austin, Texas aims to bring an atmosphere of fellowship by bringing friends and family together for the world’s greatest cheeseburger. Fresh cheeseburgers and fellowship, that’s what we stand for!  Hat Creek Burger Co. has partnered with Austin Ridge Bible Church to create an MLF Truck ministry in North Austin, for more information on this MLF Truck community you can visit their community page.

House the Homeless – House The Homeless, Inc., an educational and advocacy group, was founded in Austin, TX in 1989. Our mission is Education and Advocacy surrounding the issues of homelessness.

J. Black’s – J Black’s Feel Good Lounge provides a true Austin lounge experiences. Featuring easy-to-share menu items, creative cocktails, a diverse wine list, and attentive, friendly staff. J Black’s partners with numerous local charities throughout the year and donates a percentage of all proceeds each Thanksgiving to MLF.

Junior League of Austin – The Junior League of Austin is a diverse group of dedicated women working to make Austin a better place. The Junior League of Austin is a nonprofit organization formed in 1934 committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Meals on Wheels and More – Meals on Wheels and More seeks to nourish and enrich the lives of the homebound and other people in need through programs that promote dignity and independent living.

NAMI Austin – Performs charitable, educational and scientific activities to improve services for mentally ill persons and for families of the mentally ill.
