Our Board

Our mission is to provide uncompromising love and hospitality to our brothers and sisters in need. We do this by empowering a league of volunteers in providing food, clothing, and promoting dignity to our homeless brothers and sisters in need. We accomplish this mission through the creation of relationships that cultivate a community life of stability and purpose.

Alan Graham, President

Alan Graham is the president and founding member of Mobile Loaves & Fishes. He is married (since 1984) to his wife Tricia and they have four children; Decker, Taylor, Marlee & Keaton and a niece, Samantha, that they have raised. Alan formerly was in the real estate development, investment, management & brokerage business in Austin, Texas having founded Trilogy Development, Inc. and co-founded The Lynxs Group, developers of on-airport air cargo facilities. It has been through the love for Jesus Christ that Alan is called to serve in this ministry, enabling others to serve their brothers & sisters in need.

Bruce Agness,
Vice President

Bruce Agness is a founding member of Mobile Loaves & Fishes. Bruce is the owner of Lumber Insurance Services selling insurance to the lumber industry for over twenty years. Bruce is married to Regan (since 1987) and they have three children; Chris, Jeremy, and Leiza.

J. P. “Pat” Patterson, Vice President

J.P. “Pat” Patterson, semi-retired, founding member of Mobile Loaves & Fishes and original member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He has had the pleasure of being Bunky’s loving husband and the father of six children. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Pat moved to Austin in 1961. He still continues to listen to the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s Will.

Brian McClure

Brian McClure is currently in the process of starting his own company, Echotouch Corporation, which will provide digital advertising in shopping malls and other high-traffic areas. McClure and his family attend Riverbend Church and are active in the community.

Neal Nolan, Chairman

Neal Nolan is a partner in IBM’s Global Services Division. In May of 2005 Neal took a six-month unpaid sabatical from IBM and came to work at no cost for Mobile Loaves & Fishes. A native of New Orleans the hurricane season prompted him to develop a Disaster Relief plan that was approved by the MLF Board just six days prior to Hurricane Katrina slamming into Louisiana and Mississippi. Neal is married to Lynn and they have two daughters, Caitlyn and Renee.

Rob Reynolds

Rob Reynolds is a Systems Analyst for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. He is married to his wife Carol Willis since 1981 and they have two children. A daughter Andria, a recent graduate of Texas State University embarking on a high school teaching career and a son Grady who is in college. Rob is a member of First United Methodist Church where he started the Downtown Alliance of Churches MLF community. He also serves on the church Missions Team and is a commissioned Stephen Minister. Rob’s volunteer involvement with MLF began in 1999 through his friendship with Alan Graham.

Mark White

Mark White is a founding member of Mobile Loaves & Fishes and has been a resident of Austin, Texas for over 30 years. He is a social worker and licensed psychotherapist in private practice, specializing in children, adolescents, families, and group therapy. Mark married Melanie White on July 4, 2007. Melanie has two adult sons, Jackson and Daniel McIntosh. Mark and Melanie are active co-parents of their niece, Elizabeth White.Together, Mark and Melanie have over 60 years of combined professional experience. They hope to continue to find ways to contribute their time and talents in service to others.

Meagan McCoy Jones

Meagan McCoy Jones grew up in San Marcos, Texas and graduated from the San Marcos Baptist Academy in 2000. She graduated from the University of Richmond in 2004 with a BA in Rhetoric and Communication Studies and from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 with a MA in Communication Studies. While at Richmond, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.After graduation, Meagan joined McCoy’s Building Supply in the Corporate Development department and also worked with the Texas Legislature on behalf of McCoy’s to revise the Business Franchise Tax.

Meagan is currently the Director of Field Support and serving as a member of the Executive Team. She is the fourth generation to work in her family’s business.

Meagan is a member of the Board of Directors of McCoy Corporation, she serves the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas as Co-Chair of the legislative committee, and she is a Trustee of LUMPAC, LAT’s political action committee and of Home PAC, the political action committee of the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. Meagan is married to Richard Jones and they have one son, Gideon.


Jack Selman, Board Member Emeritus

Jack Selman is a founding member of Mobile Loaves & Fishes and the founding attorney of the law firm of Selman Munson & Lerner based in Austin. He represents clients in a variety of commercial matters including corporate, contract, banking and securities law. Mr. Selman is also an arbitrator for several organizations, including the American Arbitration Association and the World Intellectual Property Organization. He enjoys serving in a number of community, school and youth sports organizations. Mr. Selman and his wife Cynthia are native Austinites and have two children.
