Move-In Manager
The Neighbor Care Team has the privilege of walking alongside our “neighbors” as they apply to live at Community First! Village and to provide an opportunity for them to settle, cultivate and care for themselves and others in this unique community. The Move-In Manager is an integral part of the Neighbor Care Team and leadership. The Move-In Manager will steward and manage a team that oversees the housing application process, housing interview process, home preparation process, and neighbors settling into their new home and community at CFV. The Move-In Manager prioritizes building relationships with neighbors and welcoming them into our community with dignity and care. They will work with and educate local community partners, agencies, and case managers on our housing application process and requirements.
Content Production Intern
The Content Production Intern will work closely with the Replication Team at Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF). MLF’s Replication Team provides learning opportunities that empower leaders and organizations to transform their local communities for good based on MLF’s Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Goals. These learning opportunities include events and trainings, both in-person and virtual, as well as written, audio, and video content.
Inventory Specialist
The Inventory Specialist is an integral part of the Neighbor Care team. Mobile Loaves and Fishes (MLF) is positioned for aggressive growth over the next 5 years as we scale and add capacity in our organization and operations to lift an additional 1400+ formerly chronic homeless individuals into permanent supportive housing and community at the Community First! Village. The Inventory Specialist will play a key role in managing our inventory system and ensuring its accuracy. The Inventory Specialist will also work with other team members to improve our supply chain operations and new neighbor move-in process that will fulfill our vision, mission, and goals. To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Relationship Officer
Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF) empowers communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless. MLF is seeking a professional leader for the role of Relationship Officer (RO), responsible for the cultivation and stewardship of major donors. Reporting to the Senior Relationship Officer, the RO serves as an active participant in the development operations for MLF. The successful candidate will help deepen existing relationships and forge new relationships to build MLF’s visibility, impact, and financial resources.
Event Manager
The Event Manager is an integral part of the Hospitality team, assisting in the coordination and execution of events at Community First! Village. The Event Manager will work to steward and strengthen the overall event experience for all guests, donors, and volunteers. This role is essential in promoting the mission and vision of MLF to the public, as we empower communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless. This position will be working closely with internal teams and external clients such as partners, donors, businesses, faith communities, and individuals who seek to host events at Community First! Village.
Social Work Intern
The Social Work (SW) Interns are an integral part of the Neighbor Care team. The primary role of a SW Intern is to enrich the lives of the neighbors at Community First! Village by providing direct care, emotional support, and resource connection for our neighbors. Social Work Interns also work with Neighbor Care staff and onsite partners to help neighbors connect with the support that they need.
Community Groundskeeper
The Community Groundskeeper is an integral part of the Property Beautification team assisting in the general upkeep of the landscape at Community First! Village including grounds maintenance and participation in occasional ground construction activities. An additional core component of the position will be leading large numbers of volunteers on a daily basis, which furthers our vision to “empower communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless.” The Community Groundskeeper will be personable and energetic, keeping grounds functionally and aesthetically sound.
Relationships & Giving Intern
The Relationships & Giving (R&G) Intern supports overall development operations with an emphasis on donor stewardship and data quality. The R&G Intern will support the R&G team to ensure donors are thanked, recognized, and stewarded in meaningful ways to deepen engagement.
Property Beautification Intern
The Property Beautification Team leads in the general upkeep of the landscape at Community First! Village, a 51-acre master-planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing, and a supportive community for the chronically homeless in Travis County. This internship will come with the benefit of learning from a team with over 70 years of groundskeeping and landscaping combined experience. This summer internship will include aspects of maintaining a property, design, installation, maintenance, and supportive aspects such as irrigation, pest control, and weed control. This will be done all while having fun and enjoying getting to build relationships with the neighbors that live and work here!
Community Empowerment Intern
Community Empowerment Interns assist team leadership with various tasks in multiple areas, including data management, marketing, and business operations for Community Events, the Art House, the Volunteer Team, and more. The right candidate is a jack-of-all-trades business student with great Excel skills, a desire to learn, and a heart for service. This is truly a multi-faceted role on a diverse and exciting team where every day is a little bit different!
Experienced HVAC Technician
The Experienced HVAC Technician is an integral part of the Grounds & Facilities Department. In addition to being able to perform a variety of complex maintenance and repair duties, they will aspire to be a strong leader and mentor to the rest of the Maintenance Team at Community First! Village, a 51-acre master planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing for individuals coming out of chronic homelessness.
