Having a criminal record does not disqualify you from applying for a home in Community First! Village. However, an applicant who is currently or has ever been on the Sex Offender Registry will be automatically disqualified. Additionally, Mobile Loaves & Fishes reserves the right to disqualify someone who:

  1. Has committed a misdemeanor assault within the past 7 years
  2. Has committed violent crimes against persons, regardless of the date (i.e. capital murder, murder/manslaughter, kidnapping, child molestation, rape, and crimes of a sexual nature, or arson)
  3. Has demonstrated a pattern (3 or more instances) of continuing conduct/acts, regardless of type of severity, which may interfere with the health, safety, or right to peaceful enjoyment of the premises by others.

We work closely with individuals who have a criminal record, but make no guarantees of approval.
