James was raised by his mom and grew up in the projects of Boston, MA. His love for art was sparked  from comic books which lead him to the Mass College of Art as a 12 year old. In 2015 he was offered housing in Grand Prairie, TX to start his journey in becoming a nurse. After unforeseen health issues struck his host family he was forced to the streets of Austin in search of work and home. It was there that he met Mobile Loaves & Fishes and began his journey in the Art House. He enjoys creating detailed sketch art using pencil. May this piece of art bring you hope in and through unforeseen hardships, and may it help you discover your inner talents that have yet to be cultivated.
