Ute was born and raised in Ludwigshafen, Germany. She found Art as a young girl by a natural love for beauty and all forms of art. Having no formal artistic education she learned how to paint by watching and doing, allowing every form of art from theater to music and painting inspire her into creating. Her journey to America began in 2003 on a vacation, she fell in love with Austin and it soon became her home. In 2009 her relationship began with Mobile Loaves & Fishes through the food truck ministry and soon after was connected to the Art Program. While awaiting the village from 2009-2017, Ute continued to create and traveled to and from Austin to Denver in search for work. In October of 2017 she was welcomed to her forever home and is settled in at Community First! Village. We hope every piece of Ute’s artwork bring you joy and brighten your day with its whimsical character and deep mystery.
