When you drive around Austin and look underneath our bridges and on our street corners, you can’t help but see our homeless neighbors struggling to survive. For many people, seeing this may feel like a hopeless situation. Yet when you come out to Community First! Village, and see our formerly homeless neighbors living in a permanent home supported by a caring community, you see that hopelessness transforms into a powerful feeling of hopefulness.

With you standing alongside us, Community First! Village has been welcoming our homeless neighbors home for ten years!

Because you have remained steadfast in supporting and caring for our Village neighbors, as well as our friends still experiencing homelessness on the streets of Austin, you affirm our belief that housing alone will never solve homelessness, but community will.

You are the community that gives hope to the hopeless!

This year, more than 100 of our friends who were suffering homelessness came home to Community First! Village. Because of you, they will be celebrating Christmas at home for the first time in years! Through your loyal support, our neighbors have found their place of permanence and belonging. They have found opportunity, dignity and community. They have found connection with compassionate people like you!

Thank you for giving our friends what they need to restore their hope and transform their lives!

Nearly 430 formerly homeless neighbors currently live in the Village, and we will soon begin moving neighbors into our expansion properties. With your help, construction continues on the expansion of Community First! Village.

Our homeless neighbors need you to continue this work. With you by our side, we will be building 1400 homes, and we will soon be able to welcome many more neighbors home to Community First! Village.

Through your faithful gifts, hopelessness turns into hopefulness and those suffering alone on the streets are lifted up into community and home. Your generous donation will provide ongoing support for our Community First! Village neighbors and also for the men and women still experiencing homelessness this holiday season!
