The Crisis
For two decades we have been serving our homeless neighbors surviving on the streets of Austin. During that time we learned that the primary cause of homelessness is a catastrophic loss of family. Our homeless brothers and sisters are isolated, lonely and disconnected. They have no family, no support and no hope.
The Mobile Loaves & Fishes Response
What begins with a sandwich and conversation with a caring volunteer soon evolves into trusted relationships—creating family and community where there were none. As we faithfully work to provide food and clothing, cultivate community and promote dignity to our homeless neighbors, their lives are transformed—lifting them off the streets and into community and home.

Every day for the past 20 years, we’ve been working to care for and serve our neighbors living on the streets. Together we’re bringing relief to those suffering from homelessness in our community. Sadly there are still many homeless men and women struggling to survive. They are hungry, lonely and vulnerable with no place to call home. Every day they are praying for an angel to help lift them up. They are praying for someone like you!
