When new neighbors move into Community First! Village, we aim to turn their houses into homes with an extra touch of care and support to help with their homemaking needs. We provide 100 brand new items to our neighbors during their homecoming. This is an excellent opportunity for you to be a part of their transformative journey home!
In Kind Donations
We also gratefully accept a variety of home goods. Please note that to due to the sizes of our tiny homes and the medical history of many of our neighbors, furniture donations must meet our guidelines.
Home Decor Bundles for New Neighbors
One of the more creative and personalized ways to support our new neighbors as they move in is by creating a home decor bundle. We provide a list of decorative items that all new homes need, and you curate a bundled collection of those items. When a new neighbor moves into the Village, they get to choose from the list of available bundles and have their home decorated based on their personal style. If you’d like to produce a home decor bundle for us, please keep the following in mind:
Each bundle should include:
- 1 Twin or Queen comforter set (including sheets)
- 1 throw blanket
- 2 throw pillow covers
- At least 3 wall art pieces (no larger than 12″x16″)
- 2 coasters
- Optional additional themed decor
- 1 pennant (for sports-related themes)
- Please include a card or note with the name of the theme!
