While Community First! Village is closed in order to protect our neighborhood during the COVID-19 health crisis, the Community Market remains open and accessible to the men and women who live here.

Nearly 22 years ago, the founders of Mobile Loaves & Fishes acted on their call to feed the homeless and we are still answering that call today.
As we all endure a new state of normal under the City of Austin’s Stay at Home Order, life in Community First! Village is adjusting to a different pace of life as well. One thing that has become increasingly challenging for the men and women who live in the Village is getting to the grocery store for their regular food purchases.
We have closely reviewed the ‘Guidance for Construction Industry’ related to the City of Austin’s Stay Home-Work Safe Order, and we are confident that construction on Phase II of Community First! Village can continue.
Mobile Loaves & Fishes is considered an essential service and is joyfully still operating – serving goodness every day.
